The Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming conceptual ideas into high-quality visual designs for packaging, marketing collateral, and digital media. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that every design is not only beautiful but technically feasible for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Packaging Design: Create innovative die-lines and visual layouts for various packaging formats, ensuring brand consistency and technical accuracy.

  • Brand Identity: Develop and maintain visual brand standards for Fon Packaging and our diverse portfolio of clients.

  • Pre-Press & Production: Prepare print-ready files, managing color profiles, bleed, and structural specifications to ensure high-quality output during the manufacturing process.

  • Marketing Support: Design digital and print assets, including social media graphics, brochures, catalogs, and sales presentations.

  • Collaboration: Work alongside the sales and production teams to understand client requirements and provide creative solutions that meet budget and material constraints.

  • Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends in packaging design, sustainability, and printing technology.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2+ years of professional experience, preferably within the packaging or printing industry.

  • Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign). Familiarity with 3D rendering software (like Adobe Dimension or Esko) is a significant plus.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout. Practical knowledge of print processes (offset, flexo, digital) and substrate limitations.

  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating creative flair and a keen eye for detail (specifically showcasing packaging or structural design).

  • Problem Solver: Ability to navigate technical design challenges and material limitations.

  • Time Management: Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
