Job Description

The Channel Marketing Associate, Hardware provides support for marketing and product initiatives across the door and cabinet hardware categories (e.g., EMTEK® and Schaub). Reporting to the Senior Channel Strategy Manager - Hardware, this role helps execute go-to-market programs, maintain sales collateral, coordinate project timelines, and manage day-to-day details that ensure the successful launch and promotion of hardware products and channel marketing plans. The coordinator partners with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate information, effective tools, and timely communications that drive brand growth across business channels.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, and in office Tuesday – Thursday in Deerfield, IL.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Channel & Brand Support
    • Assist in maintaining the go-to-market playbook for hardware channels, updating deliverables and timelines as directed.
    • Support the development and fulfillment of sales enablement materials, product sheets, and marketing collateral / promo items.
    • Conduct basic competitive research and compile customer feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  • Go‑to‑Market & Sales Enablement
    • Coordinate updates to product information across price lists, spec sheets, websites, and e-commerce platforms.
    • Assist in preparing training presentations, customer decks, and promotional content.
    • Organize logistics for trade shows, customer events, and sales meetings, including shipping materials and coordinating schedules.
  • Customer & Channel Engagement
    • Track and manage distribution of samples, displays, and promotional materials.
    • Help administer incentive programs and monitor participation.
    • Collect and organize feedback from field sales teams and channel partners for reporting.
    • Maintain collateral libraries and ensure materials are accessible and up to date.
  • Budget & Reporting
    • Process purchase orders, track invoices, and maintain budget spreadsheets for channel marketing initiatives.
    • Compile ROI and program effectiveness data; prepare summary reports for review by the Senior Manager.

 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred.
    • 1–3 years of experience in marketing coordination, project support, or related role; B2B or building materials industry experience a plus.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools (Smartsheet, MS Project) preferred.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to collaborate across teams and build effective working relationships.
    • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%).

    Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $50,000 USD - $70,500 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
