LemFi (Series B) is building the go-to financial app for the Global South.

Moving to a new country shouldn’t mean starting from zero. That's why our team of 400+ spanning 20+ countries is building a financial ecosystem that helps immigrants stay connected to home, build stability, and create wealth regardless of where they are from or where they live.

What began as fast, affordable remittances is now evolving into a complete platform for multi-currency accounts, payments, credit, and long-term financial growth.

With millions of users across the globe, we process over $1B in monthly transactions to 30+ countries, proving that borders shouldn't limit financial opportunity.

As the Head of Growth – Anglophone Africa, you will be the driving force behind LemFi’s expansion across some of the largest and fastest-growing remittance corridors globally.
Leading the Anglophone Africa Growth team, your objective is to seamlessly connect the English-speaking African diaspora across Europe, the US, Canada, and the UK with their home markets in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and other priority regions.

You will have end-to-end ownership of the region’s growth engine, holding direct accountability for user acquisition, transaction volume, revenue, and unit economics. Reporting to the Head of Africa, this role offers high autonomy and leadership visibility, giving you the power to shape the future of diaspora financial services at scale while working cross-functionally with Product, Partnerships, Treasury, and Operations to deliver sustainable, market-leading expansion.

How You’ll Contribute
  • Define the Growth Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive market entry and penetration strategies across Anglophone Africa and key diaspora sender markets.

  • Drive Acquisition & Retention: Own the end-to-end user lifecycle—from paid marketing, influencer campaigns, and community-led initiatives to activation, engagement, and win-back strategies.

  • Optimise the Funnel: Partner closely with Product to refine onboarding, improve conversion rates, limits, and user experience to increase transaction frequency, ARPU, and LTV.

  • Lead Cross-Functional Execution: Oversee day-to-day operations by coordinating across Growth, Ops, Product, CRM, and Partnerships to ensure initiatives are delivered efficiently and align with LemFi’s mission.

  • Maximise Performance & Unit Economics: Track and analyse key metrics (CAC, LTV, revenue, payback periods), continuously optimising growth levers and resource allocation for maximum impact.

  • Build a High-Performing Team: Hire, mentor, and lead an innovative growth team, setting clear expectations and fostering a culture of ownership and speed.

Who You Are
  • Intensely Ownership-Driven: You don’t wait for direction; you comfortably own targets, budgets, and regional execution with clear accountability for volume and revenue.

  • Highly Analytical & Strategic: You constantly monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and user behavior to inform your strategy, relying on data-driven experimentation to make decisions.

  • Resilient & Execution-Focused: You thrive in a fast-paced fintech environment, navigating operational hurdles with speed to rapidly scale market share in priority corridors.

  • A Cross-Functional Unifier: You possess excellent stakeholder management skills, effortlessly aligning Product, Compliance, and external partners toward shared commercial success and system reliability.

  • A True Team Builder: You set high performance standards and inspire your team, creating a culture focused on innovating the future of diaspora financial services.

What You’ll Bring
  • Significant experience in Growth, Marketing and Commercial leadership roles within B2C fintech.

  • Proven track record scaling fintech, payments, remittances, or consumer financial products.

  • Deep expertise in Anglophone African markets and diaspora-led growth strategies.

  • Strong command of growth funnels, CRM, paid media, partnerships, and community-led growth.

  • Demonstrated experience managing regional performance targets, budgets, CAC, and LTV.

  • Hiring Manager Interview – Growth Strategy & Vision (45 mins)

  • Cross-Functional Panel – Product, Operations & Partnerships (60 mins)
