About the Team

Like every team at OpenAI, the Marketing team contributes to our broader mission of ensuring responsible and widespread adoption of artificial intelligence. With that aim in mind, we are responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and usage for OpenAI’s products and platform amongst our core audiences. We take a data-driven approach to understand our customers' needs and challenges, ensuring that their voices are reflected in product development and messaging. We then partner closely with Product, Engineering, Research, Comms, and Design teams to create a cohesive customer experience across all our channels. Our focus extends beyond just promoting product features; we aim to provide valuable insights and resources that help our users make the most out of AI technologies.

About the Role

We are hiring a Global Head of Partner Marketing to lead and scale OpenAI’s marketing relationship with its ecosystem partners across a broad partner ecosystem, including technology partners, software vendors, and consulting and systems integration firms.

This role serves as the single accountable leader for the development of our partner marketing strategy and execution globally. You will be responsible for defining strategic direction, establishing a durable operating model, and establishing scaled marketing activity that drives partnership and revenue growth for both OAI and our partners.

In this role, you will:
  • Define and create a scalable partner marketing engine for OpenAI that drives partner goodwill, pipeline growth, and outstanding customer experiences.

  • Scale the partner marketing organization through the crawl, walk, and run phases of its growth using demonstrated success to justify increased investment.

  • Collaborate with our GTM Partnership organization to set go-to-market investment criteria for the ecosystem, then measure and improve the success of those investments over time.

  • Educate partners on the value of working with OpenAI to help customers realize success with AI in the enterprise.

  • Create and manage marketing campaigns, content, and materials that grow engagement, adoption, and revenue.

  • Work with Brand Strategy and Integrated Marketing teams to develop marketing strategies that inspire best-in-class work.

  • Establish and enforce clear IP, quality, and conflict-of-interest guardrails across joint engagements and any co-developed assets.

You might thrive in this role if you have:
  • 18+ years of experience in partner or product marketing, with a strong focus in enterprise platform technology.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.

  • Naturally cut through complexity and distill what matters into its simplest form.

  • Strong creative judgment and ability to give clear, constructive feedback that elevates the work.

  • Systems thinker who has a proven ability to develop scalable marketing programs.

  • Track record of campaigns and programs that drive adoption and revenue.

  • Strong executive presence with comfort operating under ambiguity, complexity, and accountability.

  • Track record of building marketing motions from foundation through scaled execution.
