The Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional VP of Strategic Partnerships to build what we believe can become one of AlphaSense’s most important growth engines.

This is not a traditional alliances role.

We are building deep, strategic relationships with some of the world’s most influential consulting, advisory, and technology organizations that have the potential to fundamentally expand how AlphaSense reaches customers, solves complex business problems, and becomes embedded in enterprise transformation.

The opportunity is enormous, but the playbook is not yet written.

Your job is to write it.

You will determine where AlphaSense and our partners can create unique value together, build trusted relationships with senior leaders across industries and functions, develop the commercial models that turn those relationships into revenue, and mobilize both organizations to execute.

You will need to be equally comfortable developing strategy in the boardroom and turning it into action in the field.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to build a function from the ground up and potentially create a nine-figure revenue channel for one of the fastest-growing companies in enterprise AI.

Who You Are

We are looking for an unusually strong combination of strategy, partnerships, commercial judgment, and executive presence.

  • You started your career in top-tier strategy consulting. Experience at McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or a comparable strategy consulting firm is important. You know how to quickly understand complex industries and business problems, structure ambiguous opportunities, and communicate a compelling point of view to senior executives.
  • You have subsequently led strategic partnerships. You have meaningful experience building and scaling a Partnerships, Alliances, or Business Development function within a high-growth enterprise software or technology company. You understand how to move from a senior-level relationship to a repeatable commercial motion.
  • You have exceptional intellectual horsepower and judgment. A partnership with a global organization like Accenture can take dozens of different forms across industries, practices, regions, and customer problems. You can quickly determine where AlphaSense belongs, where we don't, and where an opportunity could become enormous.
  • You are an exceptional communicator. You can walk into a room with the most senior partners at a global consulting firm, understand their world quickly, and tell the AlphaSense story in a way that is relevant, crisp, credible, and compelling.
  • You are commercial. You don't measure success by the number of partnerships signed. You measure it by customer impact, adoption, pipeline, revenue, and durable strategic value. Direct Sales or Sales leadership experience is a significant plus.
  • You are a builder. You don't need a mature organization, established playbook, or large team around you. You are energized by creating those things.
  • And you lead through influence. You know how to mobilize Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and executive leadership around opportunities that don't fit neatly within one organization.
What You'll Build
  • Create the strategy. Define where strategic partnerships can create the greatest commercial and strategic advantage for AlphaSense and focus the organization relentlessly on the highest-value opportunities.
  • Build transformational partnerships. Develop deep relationships with senior leaders at the world's leading consulting, advisory, and technology organizations and identify opportunities to bring AlphaSense into their most important client engagements.
  • Turn relationships into revenue. Create scalable co-sell, referral, embedded, and other GTM models that translate executive alignment into meaningful pipeline and bookings.
  • Make AlphaSense relevant to new problems. Work with partners to identify where AlphaSense's combination of proprietary content, AI, and enterprise intelligence can solve high-value business problems across industries and functions.
  • Mobilize the field. Partner closely with AlphaSense's Revenue organization to make partnerships actionable for sellers and ensure opportunities move from corporate relationships into individual accounts.
  • Build the operating model. Establish the governance, metrics, processes, enablement, and eventually the team required to scale Partnerships into a major business.
  • Represent AlphaSense externally. Become a trusted, senior face of AlphaSense with some of the most influential organizations and executives in the world.
Why This Role Matters

AlphaSense has already built a large and rapidly growing direct business.

Strategic Partnerships allow us to create another powerful path into the enterprise - one where the world's leading advisory and technology organizations don't simply recommend AlphaSense, but build AlphaSense into how they help their clients transform.

We believe this can become a significant source of growth and a durable strategic advantage.

But it needs a leader who can see the opportunity before the playbook exists.

Someone strategic enough to define it. Commercial enough to monetize it. Credible enough to engage the most senior partners in the world. And entrepreneurial enough to build it from scratch.

For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience/expertise and may vary from the amounts listed below.

You may also be offered a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
