Healthcare Program Manager
Why We Have This Role
As a Healthcare Program Manager, you will lead complex, cross-solution implementations for our largest enterprise healthcare clients. You will drive program-level execution across multiple concurrent workstreams, managing risks, issues, and scope boundaries in high-velocity, often ambiguous environments. Reporting to the Director, PMO, you will bring strong organizational discipline and influence internal cross-functional teams—including Delivery, Technical, Support, Advisors, and Growth partners—to ensure seamless, high-quality execution. If you excel at driving clarity out of complexity, leading through influence, and delivering high-stakes healthcare software programs, this role will give you significant impact.
How You’ll Find Success
- Cross-Functional Influence: Drives follow-through and accountability across diverse internal teams without direct positional authority.
- Rigorous Governance & Discipline: Maintains precise program tracking, RAID logs, and executive reporting across complex, multi-workstream implementations.
- Proactive Risk & Escalation Management: Surfaces risks early and leads rapid cross-functional responses during critical escalations until issues stabilize.
- Executive & Tailored Communication: Crafts concise, clear updates for executive, operational, and technical audiences, even when dealing with incomplete information.
- Scope Boundary Discipline: Firmly enforces delivery scope and implementation criteria while protecting client relationships and partnering with Growth on commercial decisions.
How You’ll Grow
- Lead high-visibility, enterprise-scale healthcare SaaS deployments across our largest health system clients.
- Advance your strategic PMO leadership capabilities by refining program governance, risk methodologies, and continuous process improvements.
- Build deep relationships across executive, clinical, operational, and technical leadership inside top-tier healthcare organizations.
- Expand your expertise in leveraging AI and automation tools to synthesize operational data into executive-ready communication.
Things You’ll Do
- Own Program Execution: Manage program-level execution for multi-solution implementations across various business units simultaneously.
- Establish Program Governance: Maintain integrated project plans, RAID logs, and governance structures using tools such as Wrike.
- Lead Issue Resolution & Escalations: Coordinate cross-functional responses to resolve complex client escalations and stabilize workstreams.
- Manage Scope & Transition: Enforce scope criteria to declare implementations "done" before transitioning clients smoothly to long-term relationship owners.
- Leverage Modern PM Tools & AI: Adapt program templates, synthesize progress data, and utilize AI/automation tools to streamline reporting and communication.
What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
- 8+ years of program, project, or client delivery management experience (preferably within healthcare, health tech, or enterprise SaaS environments).
- Demonstrated track record managing complex, cross-functional programs with competing priorities and multiple workstreams.
- Strong domain knowledge in the healthcare industry (patient experience, clinical operations, digital health, or quality improvement).
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s (MBA, MHA, MPH) or PMP/PgMP certification is a strong plus.
- Proven experience utilizing project/program management software (e.g., Wrike) and driving governance structures.
