TUTCO, LLC, a leading manufacturer of heat strips and heating elements, used in the HVAC and Appliance industry is seeking an HR Administrator/Generalist to join their team at their new facility, DRC Heat Transfer. 

 

 

Job Description

Job Summary:

The HR Administrator/Generalist plays a key role in supporting daily human resources operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment and onboarding efforts, administering HR processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensures compliance with federal, Illinois state, and local employment laws and regulations. 
  • Conduct Investigations and provide recommendations on employee relations issues. 
  • Support full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried roles. 
  • Actively participate in business meetings, and assist with the resolution of business challenges.
  • Supports audits, reporting, and recordkeeping (e.g., OSHA logs, EEO reporting, I-9 compliance).
  • Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS systems.
  • Support workforce development initiatives and succession planning.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  •  
  • Ensure HR data integrity, and perform random audits for compliance.
  • Direct and administer disciplinary actions and disciplinary meetings for plant location.
  • Coordinate and monitor performance management program for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Assist in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures

 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in human resources.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, clerical and organizational skills.
  • Highly organized, with ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to compose letters, memos, and other correspondence.
  • Excellent computer skills with various PC-based software packages.
  • Must be lilingual in Spanish and English
