Medulla provides managed services such as Sales & Marketing, Billing, IT, HR, and Finance to three chiropractic brands, operating under the names of Chiro One, MyoCore, and CORE Health Centers. Job Description

The HR Business Partner is responsible for the application of HR principles, practices, and tools that support the execution of business strategy, provides a positive work environment, and delivers maximum value-based support to the organization as a whole. This includes HR oversight of over 50 chiropractic clinics and our corporate headquarters so multi-site healthcare experience is a plus!

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee relations/performance matters
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including assisting with timely  I-9 collection and audits and processing internal position change forms
  • Benefits experience – assisting employees with all benefit questions and help lead open enrollment 
  • Respond to employee inquiries through our HR ticket system
  • Develop and coordinate employee engagement events
  • Promote HR programs to help improve the employee experience
  • Partner with HR Analyst to maintain and analyze HR metrics – time to hire, turnover, rate of pay, etc.
  • Monitor social media reputation and draft proposed responses
  • Support performance management within clinical operations
  • Respond to employment verification requests
  • Perform administrative duties related to payment of vendors and similar tasks
  • Conduct stay/exit interviews
  • Ensure compliance of local, state and federal HR laws/regulations
  • Support talent acquisition team appropriately
  • Perform other responsibilities as the position evolves

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, health systems management, business administration, or related fields.
  • Expert knowledge of local, state and federal HR policies/guidelines/laws.
  • Professional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams).
  • A proactive, high-energy attitude geared towards achieving continuous improvement and learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related fields, or equivalent experience in a human resources setting.
  • SHRM - SCP or SPHR certification 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working as an HR Business Partner for over 100+ employees 
  • Experience working in Healthcare
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of HR policies and procedures.
  • Multi-state and multi-site HR experience a plus!
  • Working knowledge of Paychex or Paychex Flex
