Talent Acquisition Consultant - Technology (remote), Zoro

Primary Function:
We are seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Consultant to execute on recruitment initiatives for Zoro's Technology Group. The Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for targeted roles - both niche/hard-to-fill roles-- as well as handling internal mobility for selected functional areas. The execution of the targeted sourcing strategies will enable the achievement of sourcing metrics and the hiring of highly qualified candidates. Success will be driven by this individual's ability to network, demonstrate tenacious search ethics and display their sourcing IQ. In addition, the TAC will have a savvy understanding of organizational/ candidate fit and the ability to pitch our fantastic career opportunities that will ultimately score the talent necessary to drive our growing businesses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conducts full-cycle recruitment for exempt positions within Zoro's Technology group, including posting/advertising, resume screening/phone interviews, facilitation of final interview/selection process, with periodic involvement in the background/pre-hire process.
- Sources and engages with diverse talent pools to proactively build candidate pools for current and anticipated needs.
- Researches markets for high volume and niche roles to ensure that recruitment message drives traffic and timing of advertising aligns with business needs.
- Identifies creative methods to expand a diverse talent pipeline through marketing, networking, social media, employer branding initiatives, recruitment event planning and other forms of candidate interest generation.
- Coordinates and processes new hire information for pre-hire and onboarding with hiring managers.
- Manages vendors related to recruitment and pre-hire process including 3rd party recruitment agencies.
- Monitors performance of advertising channels and applicant quality using recruitment metrics.
- Reviews and reports to leadership relevant statistics regarding turnover rates, applicant/hire quality, demographics, and source effectiveness to determine any noteworthy trends.
- Ensures legal compliance with various laws and regulations covering the areas of employment and employee relations.
- Performs additional related duties as assigned or requested as department needs or volume of work fluctuate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources (or similar) or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with utilization of an advanced applicant tracking system.
- 2+ years experience in recruiting technical talent.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills including the ability to utilize Google Workspace software such as Google Docs, Sheets and Slides.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidential information.
