Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Home Chef is building new ways to provide meal solutions that meet a wide variety of customer needs, and shipping locations both online and in store. Our team is a unique mix of creators, chefs, entrepreneurs, and trailblazers and we’re growing quickly. Our customer-first mentality, combined with a zest for supporting our peers, helped us bring home Built in Chicago’s Startup of the Year Moxie award in 2017. If you’re ready to be part of the action, we’re ready to connect with you. There are no limits to where we can go together.
As the COVID-19 situation continues to escalate in the US and around the world, we are committed to keeping our teams and their families as our greatest priority. To that end, we are making some adjustments to the way we will be doing business in the upcoming weeks.
We are taking all the necessary precautions to keep our employees and customers safe, and would love to have you on our team as we can continue to serve our communities.
At Home Chef, we believe it's our workforce that sets up apart. Across our Corporate location and 3 distribution facilities, it’s our employees who make it possible for us to succeed at our mission of delivering delicious home-cooked meals to our customers. As such, Home Chef is on a long-term journey to focus on the morale of our workforce, and a key element of that is ensuring that we have a diverse workforce - and more importantly, an environment that fosters equity and inclusion, where our employees feel safe coming to work and can be themselves.
It’s a challenge to take on, but with a team of humble team players and pragmatic next-level thinkers, we know we are up for the challenge. And we’re looking for someone else to join the team and take on that challenge with us!
We’re looking for someone with a passion for diversity, equity and inclusion - someone with experience in the field as well as a strong ability to voice their opinions, problem solve, debate what’s right and wrong, and help Home Chef get to the right answer for us. Come join us on this exciting journey!
