Position Overview:
Within Camelot Illinois, the Employee Experience Specialist will report to the Development and Communications Manager and is responsible for supporting employee experience initiatives throughout the organization.
- Respond to employee questions and concerns regarding a wide variety of issues in a timely and courteous manner.
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the team, inclusive of employment compliance, administering benefits and processing payroll.
- Work closely with various vendors to administer programs (payroll, 401k, benefits, insurance).
- Assist with “Camelot Business Associate” recent graduate rotational program, ensuring the curriculum and experienced gained is both meaningful and valuable.
- Communicate company-wide learning activities with the creative and effective use of relevant mediums.
- Manage, communicate, and organize schedules of learning events to meet the needs of the business.
- Help coordinate the learner and supplier feedback process, and identify improvements in learning management, learning content, delivery, and processes.
- Accountable for the orientation of new hires, coordinating all the elements of onboarding activities and serving as the main point of contact.
- Manage logistical details of all Learning and Development events including preparing training materials, scheduling classes, monitoring enrollments, scheduling conference rooms, creating reports, etc.
- Distribute a range of internal messaging across multiple channels to Camelot employees regarding company plans, key activities and policies, and other company-wide content.
- Investigate opportunities for continuous business improvement and to expand Camelot’s internal communications offering on to new platforms, with responsibility for monitoring industry best-practice, and mobile applications and social media developments.
- Update intranet regularly.
- Assist with the recruitment process, which may include scheduling interviews, managing candidates in ATS submitting background checks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1 year of human resources, learning and development, or related experience
- Ability to be discreet with confidential information
- High level of professionalism, behaving and communicating in an articulate and professional manner, handling sensitive information with discretion
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Resourcefulness – desire to do whatever is necessary to help the Team
- Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers
- Comfortability and adaptability with various technology platforms
Attributes that stand out:
- Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications or related field or aPHR certification
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
