Position Overview:
The HR Generalist will help in supporting a respective business function by fostering leadership and organizational capability. You will work closely under the Sr. HR Business Partner to build a culture of empowering business leaders to achieve objectives. You will be responsible for understanding the pulse of our employees, generating insights, patterns and themes or trends with in assigned groups as well as understanding the needs of our management teams and assist in daily coaching and feedback.
Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and implementation of Echo policies and procedures and recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database
  • Manages all employee relations for respective teams and develops solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action
  • Improves manager and employee performance by identifying and clarifying problems; evaluating potential solutions; implementing selected solution; coaching and counseling managers and employees.
  • Ensures Echo is in compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.


Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of varied/progressive HR or related business experience
  • Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
