HR Operations Specialist

As an HR Operations Specialist you will help champion new and evolved processes, partnering closely with the HR team to promote a smooth and positive employee experience, data integrity across systems, and a problem solving mindset.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Knowledge of HR practices, policies, processes, and systems in a multi-state environment
- Provide seamless and client focused support to our employees, responding to questions and resolving issues timely, throughout the employee lifecycle
- Partner closely with the HR to support people programs
- Follow Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) and process workflows
- Participate, contribute, and lead the proactive review and implementation of process improvements
- Support the review of Employee Handbooks, including partnering with policy owners/reviewers across departments, identifying federal and state regulation changes and international variations, and suggesting how to make the document more effective and comprehensible
- Maintain employee data, including processing changes, auditing the data, and supporting future self-service initiatives
- Prepare changes for payroll, and understand the downstream impacts of HR data on payroll and finance
- Support immigration program, processes and initiatives
- First point of contact for employee benefits and systems issues
- Support HR systems by identifying process improvements, assisting with updates and testing new features
- Ability to communicate well with all levels
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned
You’ll gain loads of experience in this role but before you do, you should have:
- 1-3 years of progressive human resources experience
- A Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience required
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Critical thinking, data analysis and ability to multitask
- Experience in ADP Workforce Now and/or UltiPro including Time & Attendance, Benefits, and Reporting functionality preferred
