Job Description
Motorola Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to assist with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This person will support our HR team with administrative duties, including being the first point of contact for HR and Payroll related inquiries, administrative tasks, various HR projects/deliverables, and more. Well-qualified candidates will be collaborative and professional, demonstrating strong communication skills and exercising appropriate discretion in all duties. You will also be given the opportunity to help identify ways to improve our HR processes and support special departmental projects. Some of the things you'll be responsible for include:
Knowledge of policies, programs, and rewards – You will be the point person for employee questions related to policies, employee programs, and rewards such as benefits and payroll questions
Issues employment verification letters
Works in collaboration with the Human Resources Business Partners and Payroll Analyst to resolve payroll related issues that require escalation
Provides acquisition administrative support, including document uploads, data validation, and audits
Responsible for HR analytics, including workforce, talent acquisition, benefits, DE&I, and other ad hoc reporting requests
Workday navigation and troubleshooting
International Assignment processing
Benefits/LOA support
Education Assistance Program administration
O.C. Tanner Rewards Recognition reporting
Employee referral reporting and payment processing
Performs other administrative duties as directed by Human Resources Management, and requested by Human Resources Business Partners
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred (High School Diploma or GED required)
1+ years experience in one of the following: Human Resources, Support, Customer Service, or Analyst
Prior HR Assistant or Coordinator experience is preferred, but not required
Knowledge of employment laws and workplace compliance
Capability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
Highly detail oriented, with excellent follow-through
Proficiency with Google suite or Microsoft Office
Proven ability to follow detailed directions and deliver projects as specified
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to effectively communicate, interact and support all levels within the Company
Comfortable pushing others with diplomacy
Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Superior project management and customer service skills
Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills
Collaboration and team work
