About the Role
The Talent Strategy (TS) Leader is responsible for developing and maintaining the organization’s overall Talent Strategy with a focus in the areas of Talent Acquisition and Talent Management.
Build talent acquisition framework, processes, and infrastructure. In collaboration with the CPO, top management, and senior leaders across the organization, the TS Leader defines the strategies, processes, standards, tools, and policies for external candidate sourcing and recruitment, internal competitive mobility, recruitment technology implementation and management, seasonal employment programs, employment branding, and diversity recruitment. The Talent Strategy Leader is responsible for managing and directing the Talent Acquisition programs, operations, budget, and recruiting team.
Develop and maintain the organization’s talent management framework and processes and build a performance culture. In collaboration with top management and senior leaders across the organization, this person defines the processes, standards, tools, and policies for talent identification and, more broadly, for performance management. Key responsibilities of this position include defining individual performance standards, criteria for performance evaluation and talent identification, succession planning processes, and a process for high-potential identification and tracking.
This position is eligible for hybrid and/or remote work and will support our offices in Houston, Chicago, and Southern California. Local candidates preferred.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field
- Advanced degree in Business Administration or Human Resources preferred
- 8-10+ years plus of experience in human resources management, talent management, talent acquisition, or related functions
- 5+ years experience in the creation, design, and delivery of talent management programs having an organization-wide impact.
- Excellent needs assessment and organization culture consulting
- High level of executive influence
- Ability to make decisions and operate independently with respect to complex issues and business requirements
- Strong business acumen and broad business skills
- High tolerance to drive through ambiguity for results
