Our Corporate Home Office has an exciting opportunity for you, to excel as a Global Talent Manager. You will play a key role in improving and delivering on our Global Talent priorities, including influencing talent strategy, program design and deployment. You will also consult with key partners in our organization, collaborate with the center of excellence, and help facilitate project planning and alignment across the team. You will partner closely with our dynamic functional design sub-team for both creative content delivery and strategic alignment.
Responsibilities
In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, your principle accountabilities will include, but are not restricted to the following:
Functional/Content Design, Deployment and Consultation
- You will drive ongoing needs analyses, design, development, assessment, implementation, communication and evaluation of talent programs to ensure alignment with business strategies
- Developing models and frameworks to guide the organization’s talent management practices
- Participating in the design of programs and processes in order to elevate talent management capabilities in the organization, with a focus on talent planning, performance management, succession planning, talent assessment, talent attraction and leadership development
- Leading specific initiatives and projects
- Measuring and assessing the impact of talent-related initiatives
- Coaching and enabling leaders and HR service delivery partners to effectively deliver talent solutions to the organization
Project Management/Collaboration
- Leading large, complex global projects, including leading global project teams who may not be in the same geographic area / time zone
- Organizing budgets and, planning & delivering on large projects
- Role modeling behaviors, demonstrating deep collaboration, partnership and flexibility
- Being customer focused
- Working effectively in a fast-pasted, agile, global team
- Communicating complex information in a way that is clear and easy to understand
Minimum Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree required
- 5+ years' experience working in a talent or HR-related role; with a preference for talent management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or a related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in talent management, assessment, performance management, talent strategy and/or driving change preferred
- Global experience preferred
- Proven experience interacting and influencing senior leaders
- Experience closely collaborating in matrixed environment
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication
- Experience working under pressure and handling multiple, highly sensitive issues while balancing competing priorities
- Self-starter; forward-thinking
- Analytical skills
