    Overview:

     

    Reporting to the VP Talent, the Manager of HR Information Systems oversees all Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) for the organization, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the HRIS operations. This position will develop, implement, and modify systems requirements, maintain internal databases, and develop custom reports by collaborating with executive leadership and HR staff to identify areas of improvements, enhance existing systems/databases and recommends and/or implements solutions.

     

    Responsibilities
     

    • Maintains optimal functionality of the organizations’ HRIS systems, which may include database management, network support, installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules.
    • Leads the design, development, implementation, maintenance, and migration of all HR related software solutions including the employee data warehouse, merit and incentive systems, employee self-service, LMS, recruiting, and performance management. Investigates the viability of other systems and programs to identify efficiencies.
    • Oversees the procurement of hardware/software to ensure that the organization has high quality, efficient systems.
    • Maintains knowledge, trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications. Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
    • Develops analytics, dashboards, metrics, and reporting that assists in supporting HR programs and decisions. Responsible for providing insights into internal trends, compare external best practices and assist in formulating conclusions related to the direction of HR programs. Compiles complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested by leadership and HR staff.
    • Programs custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
    • Manages permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HR services users.
    • Serves as Project Manager on all major HRIS related developments. Serves as the lead representative and liaison between HR, IT, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HR database design and implementation projects.
    • Manages the daily, transactional processes related to HR data flow during the entire employee life-cycle from onboarding through termination. Continuously look for efficiencies in process enabling time savings, and overall reduction of transaction costs. Perform audits to ensure data security and accuracy.
    • Manages HR and payroll related vendors ensuring good relationships and fully utilization of the services they provide.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
    • 5-7 years of experience, preferably in Human Resources Information Systems or Information Technology.
    • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
    • Expert Knowledge of Workday HRIS systems

     

    Work environment/physical demands summary:

     

    This job operates in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office with an open seating floor plan. The employee may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear.
