About The Role
We're looking for a passionate recruiter to join our team! This is a unique opportunity to work at a company that builds software just for you. As a recruiter at Yello you'll use our award-winning products to source and hire candidates to fill roles across the organization.
You will manage the entire lifecycle of recruitment, including creatively sourcing a passive candidate pool, conducting screens, scheduling interviews, building relationships with candidates and hiring managers, leading and guiding the interview process, recruitment marketing, and offer negotiation. A passion for technology is essential - not only will you be asked to provide feedback and insight into our tools, you will be recruiting the talent that builds, sells, and supports them!
We're looking for someone who is passionate about recruiting and wants to work in-house to build a company. We're also looking for someone who loves closing reqs, but also loves collaborating with other teams on projects around employer brand and employee experience.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Recruit for roles across the organization, from sales and customer success to engineering and product
- Manage all phases of the recruiting process in order to achieve hiring goals
- Build strong talent pipelines of both active and passive candidates through creative sourcing techniques
- Act as a business partner to each unit of the business, understanding their needs and hiring goals, and ensuring the recruiting team is set up to achieve the company's hiring needs
- Ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion is not an afterthought in the hiring process, but foundational to it. Work with VP, People on strategies for sourcing diverse talent and cultivating an inclusive and equitable hiring process
- Partner with marketing on Yello's employer branding strategy, and own our relationships with vendors like BuiltIn, to help us source and attract top talent
- Utilize recruiting metrics to monitor effectiveness, maximize efficiency, and look for opportunities of improvement
- Champion a consistently strong and equitable candidate experience at every stage of the process
- Collaborate with the rest of the people team to ensure a smooth onboarding, specifically from offer acceptance through the first 90 days of employment
- Act as an expert on Yello's platform, understanding all aspects of the product, not just the ones most frequently used for day to day recruiting. Also understand Yello's value proposition and place in the market, and be able to speak fluently both to the technical capabilities of the tool and its overall value
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment either in house or with an agency
- Proven ability to meet hiring deadlines and fill a high volume of technical and non-technical roles
- A critical thinker who can filter through candidate profiles to uncover the diamonds in the rough and make quick, but thoughtful, decisions in the recruiting process
- Business partner to department heads and hiring managers with strong consultative skills
- Strong verbal and oral communication skills - possesses the ability to actively listen to the candidate through the recruiting process in order to support and counsel the candidate and the hiring manager
- Commitment to structured interviews and implementing and training on ways to remove bias from the hiring process
- Proven success with creative sourcing techniques and finding and cultivating passive candidates
- Passion for recruiting tools and technology

- We are currently working hybrid in our office in Chicago, but we are open to remote candidates based in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, MA, MI, NC, NH, NJ, NY, PA, TN, TX, VA, and WI
