Job Summary
The Recruiting Coordinator will be an important member of the Talent Acquisition team partnering with a team of dedicated Recruiters. This person will ensure a positive candidate and Hiring Manager experience. A successful Recruiting Coordinator will be an organizational expert, enjoy communication with others, and overall, be an ambassador for SMS. This highly collaborative role will understand processes, work with vendors, and operate within Workday. Ideal candidates for this role will have Coordinator experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and an ability to build strong relationships with candidates and internal clients. This position will provide invaluable experience and opportunity for growth within a fast-paced and dynamic organization.
Responsibilities

  • Establish strong relationships with the Recruiters and internal client groups.
  • Drive a strong candidate and client experience through a high touch recruiting process.
  • Create and improve processes
  • Schedule onsite, video, and phone interviews
  • Offer letter creation process
  • Manage the background check process from initiation to completion.
  • Partner with other internal groups effectively
  • Utilize Workday to ensure candidates and new hires are updated and moving through the process.
  • Attend hiring events as needed.
  • Project involvement and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous experience in HR, recruiting or customer centric function
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent use of judgment, innovation and execution
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; HR / applicant tracking systems a plus
  • Flexibility and willing to support multiple functions and business units
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic organization, demonstrate flexibility, and respond quickly to changes
