What you will be doing – Senior Director, Talent Development

We are seeking a Senior Director, Talent Development to build and scale a high-performance learning and development team.  Will develop and implement best-in-class training programs to achieve instructional objectives and preparing all employees to deliver successful outcomes.  Will partner across executive leadership, function leaders and HR to create value and continuously improve training offerings while tracking and achieving successful results and outcomes.

Responsibilities – Senior Director, Talent Development

  • Build and scale a new high-performance learning & development team
  • Create, implement and scale best-in-class training programs across organization (from intake to delivery)
  • Partner across organization to develop, schedule and deliver training programs
  • Lead & develop a team of L&D Specialists focused on meeting training design & development needs
  • Manage training delivery forecasts to maximize resources and meet the needs of the business
  • Create, implement and manage strategies to evaluate all training programs
  • Prepare & manage training department budget
  • Create and implement enterprise-wide training programs as needed to meet the business needs
  • Conduct companywide needs assessments to determine future learning opportunities
  • Partner across leadership, L&D and HR to identify learning and performance needs, implement training & development programs as needed to assist in development
  • Seek support and engagement of the business to successfully complete & deliver training programs & projects
  • Define & measure KPI’s for training team & programs
  • Create, implement & manage initiatives to improve effectiveness of all training programs
  • Develop & facilitate train-the-trainer certification programs
  • Ongoing maintenance to ensure training content is current, accurate and provides effective learning & development opportunities
  • Identify ongoing new ideas, practices and processes to continuously deliver high quality and highly effective training programs
  • Promote all company training programs & initiatives to increase adoption & utilization
  • Identify appropriate LMS tool to meet company growth needs – Successful implementation of identified LMS tool
  • Establish certification guidelines and process for Learning & Development team

Who you Are – Senior Director, Talent Development

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s Degree strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience leading a team of trainers in a strong service-based industry
  • 10+ years of training experience with strong presentation & facilitation skills
  • Documented success building a Learning & Development function within a service-based industry
  • Experience hiring, training & developing a new Learning & Development team
  • Experience delivering training programs in a variety of environments; lecture, activity-based learning, virtual and skills practice
  • Motivational leader with energy, enthusiasm and ability to succeed in a high growth environment
  • Strong project & people management skills with strong leadership skills
  • Track record of success supporting & leading on multiple highly visible initiatives simultaneously
  • Experience managing a Learning & Development department budget
  • Experience working with LMS systems in previous roles
  • Strong relationship building skills – Ability to gain credibility and commitment amongst internal Stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize commitments to achieve results in a high growth environment
