The HRBP role has two main functions. The first is to be the employee champion and voice of the people in the decision room. The second is to partner with the business to co-create strategy, proactively bring problems on the front line to leadership, and execute on the team’s people plan. 


HRBP executes on the people plan by working closely with business on employee advocacy and talent strategy. HRBPs role model our core values, demonstrate and coach others on how to lead with a talent first mindset and are not afraid to have tough conversations necessary to move the business forward. HRBPs also partner with the HR team to create and roll out new HR initiatives in the business.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to strategy discussions and decision-making 
  • Help execute strategy within the business units. 
  • Provide ideas and challenge to management teams, thus acting as a catalyst for change 
  • Advise business on people issues, supported by robust measurement and evaluation
  • Be the expert and conduit on people challenges- especially talent, performance, and change. 
  • Collaborate with other parts of HR to align their work with the business and deliver 
  • Have a clear and actionable people plan for business unit 
  • Act as a coach for business unit leadership. 
  • Champion Inclusion in the business 
  • Maintain strong relationships with HR counterparts and work collaboratively to develop company-wide HR support structures in a rapidly changing and complex work environment.
  • Manage and execute on key talent strategies such as organizational design, leadership development, team building and HR programs that facilitate growth and achieve business results 
  •  Provide thought partnership and coaching; build trusting relationships with executives and leadership teams 
  • Work closely with cross-functional groups and HR to achieve business results
  • Work autonomously with business units and leadership to align people strategy and business strategy 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or other relevant industry certification. 
  • Compelling and naturally persuasive communicator with ability to guide the direction of the ultimate outcome in a collaborative manner; ability to communicate decisions in a style that reflects a team-oriented culture. 
  • Ability to understand business goals and recommend innovative approaches to affect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company. 
  • Solid executive presence with excellent communication and operational instincts; good strategic skills and sound business judgment. 
  • Demonstrated competence in supporting multiple projects simultaneously with a solid focus on results. 
  • Dynamic leadership and interpersonal skills including persuasion, coaching, facilitation, and conflict resolution. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on company and team objectives. 
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, drive projects to completion and meet deadlines. 
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to shifting company or team goals. 
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including problem-solving and critical thinking. 
  • Solid executive presence with excellent communication and operational instincts. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of dynamic experience in all aspects of Human Resources and as a HR Business Partner who has supported global clients.
  • Experience successfully operating in a highly matrix organization environment. Ability to execute and influence across geographic/functional lines around the world.
  • Seven or more years of experience as a strategic business partner with broad knowledge and experience in human resources management. 
  • Experience working with career development tools, workforce planning, analytics, change management, and team effectiveness.
