Summary of Responsibilities


The Talent Sourcing Specialist will execute sourcing strategies and plans focused on passive candidates, with the aim of achieving high quality, cost effective and timely filling of roles. The TSS will work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to provide input into sourcing strategy and real-time feedback on sourcing strategy effectiveness. As an experimental, adaptable, and analytical people person, you will help us continuously refine our sourcing practices to ensure we are attracting a diverse team of top talent.

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Responsible for being the first point of contact for candidates, delivering an exceptional candidate experience and ensuring candidates are effectively pre-screened before inclusion into the recruitment process.
  • Implementing the sourcing strategy and sourcing qualified candidates for open positions in designated functional areas of the organization.
  • Developing and executing effective sourcing techniques to generate a pool of diverse candidates to staff open positions.
  • Monitoring industry trends to ensure we are leveraging the most up to date and effective sourcing channels.
  • Utilize a variety of sources in line with branding and social media policies with a focus on direct sourced (passive) candidates.
  • Qualifying candidates for skill, cultural, and motivational fit, utilizing behavioral based approach and screening criteria.
  • Maintaining timely and accurate information on all candidate interactions in the applicant tracking system.
  • Proactively pipelining talent and creating pre-qualified candidate talent pools based on the workforce plans.
  • Maintaining contact with existing talent pool candidates to obtain and capture up to date market intelligence and briefing them on potential current and future opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years work experience as a Talent Sourcing Specialist, Sourcer or similar role souring a diverse range of candidates through multiple channels with an emphasis on diverse pipelines.
  • 4+ years hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) and other Human Resources Management software.
  • Completion of a four-year degree program in a related field: Business Management, Human Resources or related.
  • Experience sourcing for a broad range of experienced roles.
  • Proficiency in direct sourcing using tools like LinkedIn, experience leveraging user groups, social media, and other recruiting tools and databases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superb time-management skills with the ability to handle various open positions simultaneously.
