CityBase works with local governments, agencies, and utilities to integrate payment functionality, business processes, and communications onto a central, cloud-based platform that consumers can access through the web, mobile, kiosk, or point-of-sale.

 

Overview: 

CityBase is seeking a dynamic HR and Recruiting leader who has experience with a startup(s) organization in a high growth phase. We are primarily looking for someone to come in and be hands-on with developing processes around human resources initiatives that help us with the growth of this company and promote wellness for our individuals. 

 

Responsibilities:

· Build best-in-class people programs in performance management, learning & development, compensation planning, and onboarding.

· Management, leadership, and direction for the entire People team. 

· Create a human resources strategy and multi-year road map directly aligned with the overall growth strategy of the company. The road map will identify the required investments in people and technology along with the projected return-on-investment.

· Talent Acquisition: Create highly effective talent acquisition and on-boarding capabilities to shorten the time to full productivity as well as to strengthen the cultural integration of all new employees, especially employees joining through acquisition.

· Across the enterprise, coach and counsel people-managers, and provide the tools and guidance that enable effective leadership. Within Human Resources, build and lead an outstanding team of human resources functional experts who have sufficient talent to scale with the growth of the business.

· Manage competitive and efficient employee benefits program. 

· Decide and act on initiatives for equal opportunity, diversity, etc.

· Assume responsibility for labor and employee relations.

· Re-engineer processes to ensure maximum efficiency.

· Ensure all procedures comply with legal regulations and best practices.

· Develop all HR functions that help with interpreting, implementing policies and procedures according to federal and state laws and regulations


Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of human resources experience, including leading teams of HR and recruitment professionals in supporting a multi-state workforce.

• At least 5-7+ years of experience leading human resources teams. 

• Bachelor’s degree; MBA or another related graduate degree preferred.

• Proven ability to set the HR vision for an organization and to develop an actionable plan to execute within a high growth, startup environment. Creative, innovative, and forward-thinking while focused on delivering results.

• Experience in organizational communication, employee relations, compensation plans, employee retention, HRIS, talent acquisition & development, people operations & metrics and developing corporate culture.

• Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to align teams and individuals in multiple locations. Ability as a player/coach to personally execute the plan, motivate and inspire a high velocity, small dynamic People team while creating a highly empowered organization with an open style and personality.

• Track record of hands-on leadership style. 

• Success in establishing or transforming the human resources service delivery model for organizations and organizational design background.

• Working knowledge of G Suite and Microsoft office.
