Scope
Join IMEG as an HR Business Partner (HRBP) in Naperville, IL. In this role, you will align business objectives with employees and leaders across assigned functions. The HRBP partners with stakeholders throughout the organization to deliver value-added HR solutions that support and advance the company’s business goals. This role also provides guidance and interpretation of HR policies to both management and employees.
Principal Responsibilities
• Participates in regular meetings with respective Client Executives and teams
• Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
• Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations
• Understands basic legal principles and seeks out additional information as needed in order to support the day-to-day management of employees in order to reduce legal risks and support regulatory compliance.
• Partners with the legal department and HR Leadership as needed/required
• Provides HR and Performance Management guidance to team management through the facilitation of regularly scheduled meetings and ongoing discussions (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
• Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings
• Assists with the facilitation of Visa Sponsorships and related HR matters
• Works in conjunction with HR Leadership to help identify training needs for disciplines, teams, and individual coaching needs
Required Skills/Abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
• Able to keep information confidential and secured
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies
• Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors
• Excellent time management, organizational, analytical and problem solving skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
• Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Familiarity with human resource information systems (HRIS) and/or the ability to quickly learn computer applications; Workday experience preferred
• Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
• Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to travel up to 25% with occasional overnight stays
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or related field, required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources preferred
• Professional Human Resources certification preferred; PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM
Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times

Salary Range $75,000 to $95,000. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options. In addition, IMEG Corp. provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
