  • Estimated annual base pay: $102,400(minimum) - $128,000(midpoint) - $153,600(maximum)

What You Will Be Doing 

  • People Leadership - Manages a group of HR Professionals for a location or a business group.
  • Resource Planning: The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for creating and updating the strategic workforce plan. The Manager, Human Resources partnering with Talent Acquisition to oversee the recruitment and hiring process, which may include developing job descriptions, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
  • Employee Relations - The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for maintaining positive employee relations, addressing employee escalations, and ensuring that employees are treated fairly and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Labor Relations—The Manager, Human Resources, will handle all union relations, including contract negotiations, grievances, notifications, and communications.  The Manager will use sound business judgment in closing grievances and escalating grievances to internal legal stakeholders as necessary.  The manager will train and hold supervisory personnel accountable to contract administration and ensure consistent practices are followed in line with company values.
  • Performance Management - The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for partnering with Talent Development to developing and implementing performance management programs, including setting performance goals, providing feedback and coaching, and conducting performance evaluations for their teams.
  • Training and Development - The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for partnering with Talent Development to developing and implementing training and development programs to help employees acquire new skills and knowledge, and to improve their job performance.

What We Are Looking For 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science (BA/BS) required; 8+ years of HR experience in lieu of degree.
  • Communication - Manager, Human Resources must have strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership - Manager, Human Resources should have strong leadership skills to motivate and manage a team of HR professionals.

  • Decision-making - Manager, Human Resources must be able to make informed decisions that are in the best interests of the organization and its employees.
  • Analytical skills - Manager, Human Resources should have strong analytical skills to collect and analyze data to make informed HR decisions.
  • Time management -Manager, Human Resources must be able to prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
  • Interpersonal skills - Manager, Human Resources must have strong interpersonal skills to build relationships and work effectively with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability - Manager, Human Resources should be able to adapt to changing situations and be flexible in their approach to HR management.
  • Technical skills - Manager, Human Resources must have a strong understanding of HR laws and regulations, as well as HR software and technology used in HR management
