3M is seeking a Human Resources Supervisor for the DeKalb Distribution Center located in DeKalb, IL.  At 3M, you can apply your talent in bold ways that matter. 

As a Human Resources Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Hiring & New Employee Onboarding.  Coordinates with stakeholders for interviews to ensure compliance with applicable business process.
• Leads the Corrective Action process by doing employee investigations and facilitates Corrective Action meeting with the Leadership Team.
• Ensures site support of Healthy Living activities.
• Coordinate and ensure 3M Corporate initiatives such as Employee Assistance & Diversity & Inclusion are implemented & supported.
• Handle a variety of employee & Leadership questions.
• Coordinates preparation, scheduling, and implementation of human resources processes such as salary review, performance management process, etc.
• Establishes credibility and visibility with employees through regular interaction.
• Provides support and assistance to employees/management through administration and interpretation of corporate policies, procedures and practices.
• Supports disability and leave management process.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university
• Three (3) years of Human Resources experience in a private, public, government or military environment 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Master's degree in Human Resources or related field from an accredited university
• Must be able to work independently with little oversight;
• Strong judgement & problem solving skills;
• Ability to resolve employee issues and elevate when appropriate

Work location:

• DeKalb, IL
• Travel: May include up to 5% domestic travel
• Relocation:  May be authorized
