IAM Operations Manager (Contract)
We are seeking an experienced IAM Operations Manager to oversee the operational health, service delivery, and continuous improvement of a complex enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) environment for a large insurance organization. This role will lead the successful operation of multiple IAM platforms, ensuring high availability, strong governance, and effective stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of enterprise IAM services, including:
- Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) using SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC)
- Access Management utilizing Ping Identity, with planned migration to Okta
- Microsoft Active Directory services in partnership with supporting teams
- Drive operational excellence through incident management, issue escalation, root cause analysis, change management, and service reporting.
- Ensure IAM platform availability, performance, and adherence to SLA targets (99%+ uptime).
- Lead communications with senior business and technology stakeholders, providing status updates, risk assessments, and operational reporting.
- Manage vendor relationships, support teams, and cross-functional stakeholder engagements.
- Coordinate planning and operational readiness for critical business events, including high-volume enrollment periods.
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and operational metrics while making informed decisions to maintain service quality.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing enterprise IAM operations in large, complex environments.
- Strong expertise in SailPoint ISC/IGA concepts, Identity Governance, and Access Management.
- Experience with Ping Identity, Okta, and Microsoft Active Directory.
- Strong leadership, staff management, vendor management, and executive communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in customer-facing environments, navigate organizational complexities, and drive resolution of critical issues.
