Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
- Meet with individuals and families throughout the greater Chicago area
- Learn about each client’s health, financial and retirement concerns
- Explain Medicare, life, health and retirement options in clear language
- Recommend appropriate solutions from multiple highly rated carriers
- Complete applications accurately and compliantly
- Follow up with clients and provide ongoing policy support
- Develop referral relationships and build a long-term book of business
- Participate in training, coaching and professional-development programs
- Pursue leadership and team-building opportunities as your career develops
What You Need
- An active Illinois Life and Health Insurance license
- A genuine interest in helping people make important financial decisions
- Strong communication, relationship-building and follow-up skills
- The ability to manage appointments and work independently
- A professional, ethical and client-focused approach
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for local appointments
- Comfort working in a commission-based, performance-driven career
- Medicare or insurance sales experience is helpful but not required
