Job Description

Drives the development and application of solutions within designated sectors and service lines, supporting business development, solutions, and operations teams. This role oversees the full implementation lifecycle—from initial due diligence to go-live—ensuring the delivery of profitable, fit-for-purpose solutions for both new and existing accounts. Supporting the Implementation Director and Managers across domestic and global delivery centers, the role is responsible for ensuring operational readiness through robust training and governance in alignment with commercial requirements across multiple time zones.

  • Gathers information in the field; conducts due diligence and discovery in the sector and/or service line.

  • Uses subject matter expertise of the sector, service, and solution to translate due diligence findings into comprehensive training curricula and implementation workflow/execution maps.

  • Develops training plans, implementation plans, and/or standard operating procedures for new-from-new or new-from-existing accounts in the key sector or service required.
  • Coordinates and prepares with the Global Solutions Director during due diligence activities and solutions preparation, especially for more complex deals.
  • Identifies opportunities for profit enhancement through process efficiency.
  • Coaches internal operational support teams on specific workflow adoption regarding the evolution of implementation plans, value propositions, and operational delivery requirements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders involved in key projects.
  • Provides subject matter expertise support to appropriate parties for strategic sales opportunities, business development, RFPs, or as otherwise requested.
  • Creates and manages a “knowledge book” and training repository detailing implementation best practices for onsite and shared services to ensure standardized enablement across all accounts.

  • Coordinates solution development, commercial proposals, and resource identification while documenting risks, gaps, and benchmarking terms; collaborates with IT to enhance platforms and tech-driven top-line growth.

Qualifications

Education

  • Minimum: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree (Bachelors degree in a related field is required)

Years of Experience

  • Minimum: 5 years (At least 5 years of related experience)

Skills and Certifications

  • Able to design curriculum, facilitate technical workshops, and deliver training plans and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure seamless go-live transitions for new and existing teams.

  • Financially and commercially astute; possesses ability to analyze requirements and implement advantageous cost or operational recommendations to manager, team members, internal or external parties.
  • Able to interact with and negotiate business positions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Possesses strong communication skills; able to communicate effectively both in person and in writing, contributing to presentations for internal and external stakeholders at senior levels, training new or existing employees.
  • Effectively navigates sensitive client conversations to encourage consensus on key issues.

  • Able to coordinate teams across a matrix/virtual environment to their optimal levels.

  • Is a problem solver, proposes options to the appropriate parties in order to make effective decisions.

  • Possesses appropriate level of technical skills in designated area of expertise to contribute to solution design and delivery requirements.

  • Able to perform research and understand client business and industry impacts.

  • Able to develop high quality professional documentation through MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $68500 to $106900 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD’s benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
