The Industry Intelligence Analyst plays a critical role in shaping the understanding of the industries Vistex serves. As part of the global Industry Team, this role delivers actionable market, competitor, and customer intelligence.  

Working closely with Industry Principals and stakeholders across sales, marketing, and product teams, the role focuses on gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing industry and market information into clear insights. These insights help inform go-to-market strategies, product innovation, and competitive positioning.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and the ability to translate complex information into practical insights for a wide range of internal stakeholders.

The role also involves supporting Analyst Relations activities, such as managing engagement with industry analysts

Responsibilities :

Industry Analysis and Insights:

  • Analyze and interpret data on Vistex related industries and market trends to inform Go-to-Market and product roadmap activities.
  • Assess market dynamics and size the market opportunities that align with Vistex strategic priorities.
  • Conduct in-depth industry analysis to identify emerging trends and developments across the industries we serve.

Competitor Intelligence:

  • Monitor and evaluate competitor activities, strategic moves, and product launches to identify potential threats and opportunities for Vistex.
  • Develop comprehensive competitor profiles and strategic insights to empower internal stakeholders, incl. pre-sales and sales to position Vistex competitively.
  • Update the organization on competitor activities that could impact market share and business objectives.

Customer Insights and Segmentation:

  • Analyze and interpret customer insights to support stakeholders on product roadmap, marketing direction and pipeline development
  • Montor and evaluate insights on evolving customer needs across the industries served
  • Provide customer insights that support pipeline development, industry expansion, and revenue growth

Analyst Relations Engagement

  • Coordinate external analyst relation engagements tied to business objectives
  • Prepare analyst briefing agendas, inquiry materials, presentations, and follow-up actions.
  • Support participation in analyst evaluations, surveys, and research processes, including coordination of required content and stakeholder input.
  • Help synthesize and distribute analyst insights internally to relevant business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with industry, marketing, and product teams to ensure alignment of analyst insights with business priorities and messaging.

The compensation for this position is $85k to $95k annually. Base pay will vary depending on factors, including but not limited to a candidate's location, job-related knowledge, skills, and work experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities and other forms of discretionary annual bonus. Qualifications Education Required Bachelors or better. Experience Required Experience with Analyst Relations practices, including engagement with industry analysts, briefing coordination, and support of strategic analyst programs. Strong analytical skills, with experience using data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI). Knowledge of market analysis methodologies, competitive intelligence, and data gathering techniques. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights. Strong project management and organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic team environment Preferred Experience in market/competitive intelligence or a related field in a B2B Software environment. Knowledge of one or more of the following industries: Automotive, Consumer Goods, High Tech, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Retail, Wholesale Distribution.
