About the Position

The Industry Lead at Cardlytics is responsible for driving revenue growth within a defined vertical by developing and executing a clear industry strategy. This role leads a team of sellers, builds senior-level client relationships, and partners cross-functionally to deliver solutions that align with market needs. The Industry Lead owns pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and overall performance within the vertical, while elevating the team’s sales rigor and client impact.

You will

  • Develop and execute a cohesive industry strategy that adds value for our customers

  • Define and communicate a clear industry vision, structure, and go-to-market strategy to the team

  • Build and manage VP+ client relationships with key accounts to drive growth, collaborating with cross-functional teams to expand existing relationships

  • Develop industry thought leadership based on our purchase insights and customer trends

  • Provide regular business reporting to stakeholders

  • Drive consistent and accurate forecasting through disciplined pipeline management to ensure visibility, predictability, and accountability

  • Hire and develop top talent

  • Coach and develop team members through clear performance expectations, regular feedback, and structured growth plans to build leadership capability and drive results

  • Influence the product roadmap by highlighting client needs

  • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment 

You have

  • 10 + years + successfully growing revenue through the development of strategic partnerships within digital advertisers with a heavy focus on retail

  • Leading high performing enterprise sales teams; hiring, coaching, developing and retaining top talent 

  • Revenue management experience- building industry plans, quotas, pipeline management and opex to achieve goals

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver against client problems (driving internal culture, alignment and accountability)

  • Conducted annual (ideally multi-year) joint business planning & contracts with clients (and has a playbook) 

  • Influencing decisions at the highest level with client (VP+) to create win-win outcomes 

  • Partnered with Marketing & Product teams to create joint plans to support teams and deliver on client & revenue goals

  • Understand financial metrics and KPIs that drive their clients business, and the pipeline metrics that drives their own business and people

Technical Environment

We primarily use macOS and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). While our preferred platform is macOS, we support both macOS and Windows. Familiarity with or willingness to work within this environment is required.
