Job Description:

WHY THIS ROLE MATTERS

Not every provider account needs a field visit to grow — and the Inside Business Development Manager is the person who proves it. Working virtually across a defined territory of Hydrafacial provider accounts, the IBDM drives consumable revenue, improves utilization, and reactivates underperforming accounts through strategic virtual engagement, data-driven business planning, and expert clinical guidance. This role is a critical complement to the field commercial team, ensuring that no account is left without a growth strategy.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Strategically manage a defined territory of provider accounts for Hydrafacial and the full SkinHealth Systems treatment platform, driving growth in consumable sales, treatment utilization, and device loyalty through primarily virtual engagement.

  • Develop and execute individualized business plans for each account focused on patient acquisition, treatment menu optimization, ROI improvement, and booster penetration.

  • Analyze account performance data to identify gaps and opportunities — including underperforming accounts, upgrade candidates, and trade-up opportunities.

  • Deliver consistent virtual training and onboarding for new estheticians and provider staff, covering treatment protocols, booster education, and front desk sales enablement.

  • Provide full practice support including consultation strategy, treatment planning, patient experience optimization, and in-practice operational guidance.

  • Guide Silver Circle (underperforming) accounts through reactivation strategies, providing targeted business support to restore utilization and revenue.

  • Support capital lead generation, qualification, and follow-up in close partnership with the Capital Sales Manager.

  • Educate clients on loyalty programs, the My Beauty Health App, and the online ordering platform to improve operational efficiency and retention.

  • Partner daily with Capital Sales Managers, Regional Training Specialists, and field Business Development Managers to execute regional strategies and ensure seamless account coverage.

  • Attend required company meetings, including Global Sales, Mid-Year/Regional meetings, and special events as needed.

  • Maintain thorough daily documentation of all customer interactions, business plans, and account updates in Salesforce.

  • Work Pacific Standard Time

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute business development or account management strategies that drive measurable client growth.

  • Experience working directly with medical practices or med-spas to increase patient volume and revenue.

  • Experience delivering virtual training or providing remote account support.

  • Prior experience in a strategic sales, territory management, or key account role.

  • Strong business acumen with understanding of pricing strategy, menu development, and ROI communication.

  • Proven success in consultative sales, upselling, and client relationship management.

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and virtual collaboration tools.

  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.

  • Willingness to attend company events and meetings requiring occasional travel.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Aesthetic license or familiarity with the skincare or medical aesthetics industry.

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
  • Primarily office or home-office based role; prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer or phone for up to 8 hours per day.

  • Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and video conferencing tools for extended periods; good visual acuity and manual dexterity required.

  • Occasional travel by car or plane for company meetings, trade shows, and regional events — approximately 10–20% annually.

  • Must be able to carry presentation materials and a laptop weighing up to 40 lbs.

We mean it when we say you’ll LOVE this role.
