We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced tax supervisor to join our high-performing and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for tax accounting, process improvements, and continuous learning. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the business's tax strategy complies with local, state, and federal laws. Supporting the tax research and working with insurance clients on tax matters as well as plan and implement special projects. Responsible for the compliance function on both life and non-life clients including supervising the preparation and technical review of federal and state corporate insurance income tax returns.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist in managing business process transactions and teams, actively supporting efficiency and compliance.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to quality standards.

  • Collaborate closely with managers and senior leadership.

  • Monitor and report on process performance and quality metrics.

  • Analyze data to identify areas for enhancement.

  • Support the development of strategic plans for process optimization.

  • Participate in resource allocation and budgeting processes.

  • Act as a bridge between senior leadership and analysts, facilitating communication.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience in Insurance industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role

  • Experience with Insurance Tax Accounting

  • Proven experience in business process transactions

  • Proficiencies in business process management and optimization

  • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus

  • Experience working with insurance clients on tax matters as well as plan and implement special projects

Work Location:

Remote in the USA

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $58,500 - $108,600.
