Position Description:

The International Regional Business Consultant is a key role who works in conjunction with Hunter’s Vice President International. This position is that of an independent contractor and not as an employee of Hunter Engineering Company. The individual will work with existing business lines and Hunter distributors in overseas markets with a focus on country market growth. The creation of additional distribution channels may also be required. This requires outstanding analytical, communications, leadership, and organizational skills. A technical background is preferred. The ability to work unsupervised in fast-paced, high energy environments is necessary. Great judgement and an ability to develop rapport with clients from senior level executives to distributor representatives is essential. The International Regional Business Consultant must be able to solve complex business problems, perform market and data research, identify growth opportunities, work in a team-oriented environment, and interact frequently with senior Hunter Engineering Company executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop world class relationships with international clients such as business owners, Managing Directors, engineers, sales, and technical managers.
  • Provide sales growth in each market by presenting business opportunities to distribution partners, OEM vehicle manufacturers and key enterprise accounts.
  • Identify and deliver, business opportunities and concepts including partnership strategies, country trends and new product ideas.
  • Deliver company provided KPI’s and strategic materials to market partners in a timely and organized manner.
  • Support administration and demonstration of products manufactured by Hunter Engineering Company during trade fairs and regional events in collaboration with market partners.
  • Frequent international travel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field preferred.
  • Automotive industry experience: capital goods and equipment experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with proven track record in international sales and account growth.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office and Salesforce software.
  • Multilingual candidates preferred for the applicable territory.
  • Strong work ethic, time management, and project management skills are essential.
  • Dynamic individual with a commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to demonstrate practical and creative approaches to problem solving.
  • Must be eligible to work and live in one of the market countries.
