Numerator is seeking an experienced Manager, Investor Relations and Corporate Communications to join our Corporate Development team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping and amplifying Numerator’s external narrative across investors, industry audiences, and new media outlets with a corporate development focus.

Working closely with executive leadership, especially the CEO, this role will help position Numerator and its executives as leading voices in the emerging data and AI ecosystem. The ideal candidate brings a strong network, sharp instincts for storytelling, and a track record of securing high-impact media placements across business, technology, and industry publications.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute a cohesive external communications strategy
  • Identify and secure high-value media opportunities across top-tier business, technology, and industry outlets
  • Build and manage relationships with journalists, editors, and key media stakeholders
  • Shape and refine Numerator’s corporate narrative, including messaging, positioning, and thought leadership, and drive proactive engagement around these topics including company milestones and product innovation
  • Support preparation for external executive engagements including interviews, speaking opportunities, and press interactions
  • Continuously monitor media coverage and industry trends to inform communications strategy and identify opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the C-Suite, marketing, product, and insights teams to surface compelling stories

Skills

  • 5–10 years of experience in investor relations, public relations, corporate communications, or a related field
  • Proven track record of securing meaningful media coverage across a range of channels and industries
  • Strong relationships with relevant media contacts, particularly in tech, business, and data industries
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, compelling narratives
  • Experience working with or advising senior executives
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Experience with AI skill - and process-building (with Claude, ChatGPT, or both) a plus; interest in building with these tools a must

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in data, tech, or market research industries
  • Background in agency and/or in-house communications roles
  • Familiarity with investor-facing communications and positioning
