IT Business Analyst

We Are a Mission-Driven Company

Sunlight Financial is a contractor-focused point of sale lender with a relentless focus on providing amazing
service and delivering a best-in-class experience to our entire ecosystem. We’re rapidly growing in every
home service vertical – Windows, Remodel, HVAC, Roofing, Fencing, and more – and need exceptional talent
to help us reach our goals.

Since inception, Sunlight has funded over $12 billion in loans with thousands of high-quality contractors
nationwide—and we’re just getting started. We’re looking for passionate, driven teammates to help scale our
growing home improvement business.

At Sunlight, we empower our teammates to make a meaningful impact. We’re looking for A players who thrive
in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment. We're a fast-growing company which means initiatives and
strategy can evolve quickly as the business scales. We need teammates who move with that agility instead of
resisting it: people who live and breathe an ownership mentality and don't wait to be asked, who take
initiative and execute, and who step in on what needs doing even when it's not strictly "theirs."

Our salaries are competitive, our benefits are generous, and our culture is collaborative, connected, and fun.

If this sounds like you and you’d like to come build with us, we’d love to talk to you.

About the Role

As a Business Analyst, you will partner with the business to gather and document process flows, business
requirements, and use cases, engaging stakeholders across the company to fully understand each need and
its compliance implications. For projects focused on optimizing operational processes, you will map how
business functions operate today and identify where AI agents can support them. You will work closely with
solution architects and developers to produce clear, concise functional specifications, then carry that work
through delivery: supporting QA with test scenarios, leading UAT and sign-off with business sponsors and
Compliance and measuring results after deployment. As an integral part of the IT team, you will have
extensive input on projects and how best to solve business challenges. We value people who take ownership
of their work, their deliverables, and the outcomes they drive. If you hold yourself accountable, follow
through, and are excited about leveraging AI to elevate the quality and speed of your work, you’ll thrive here.

Remote with occasional travel to the Charlotte, NC office for quarterly meetings.
