Job Title: IT Business Analyst – SAP MRP

Location: United States (Remote / Hybrid [<25%])

Industry Focus: Aerospace & Defense (A&D)

Orlando, FL

 

Role Summary

As an MRP Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in the modernization of legacy SAP implementations for our Aerospace & Defense client. Your expertise in SAP S/4HANA, particularly in MRP Planning, will drive the transformation of business processes and ensure seamless integration within the project technical landscape. Join our dynamic team and contribute to shaping the future of aerospace and defense technology.

 

Key Responsibilities

·       Key Responsibilities and Subject Matter Expertise

·       Leverage your deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA to guide design discussions and decision-making.

·       Focus on MRP Planning and related modules, tailoring solutions to the unique needs of the Aerospace & Defense Industry.

·       Innovations and Automations: Identify opportunities for S4/HANA automations and innovations that align with the value stream’s business processes. Propose enhancements that optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Leverage your knowledge of SAP S4 to make use of new features and fiori applications.

·       Data Migration and Documentation: Collaborate on data migration discussions related to MRP Planning, drawing on your foundational knowledge of Master Data Governance (MDG). Document design artifacts and technical realizations within the S4/HANA environment.

·       Customization and Requirements: Customize Out-of-the-Box S4/HANA functionalities to meet specific functional requirements. Document these requirements meticulously using selected toolsets (e.g., Signavio, Focus Build).

·       Stakeholder Engagement: Lead follow-up data discussions with process owners and stakeholders. Ensure alignment between technical solutions and business needs.

·       Complex Manufacturing Scenarios: Create and configure complex manufacturing scenarios, driving demand and scheduling from Network Activities. Demonstrate your expertise in Demand Driven MRP, Material Coverage, and Capacity Leveling.

 

Required Skills and Experience

·       Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA, with a focus on MRP Planning

·       Proven experience in the Aerospace & Defense Industry, with the use of Parameter Effectivity, and Project-Based Segmentation of planning

·       Familiarity with SAP PEO (Production Engineering and Operations).

·       Familiarity with PMMO (Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization) / GPD (Grouping, Pegging, and Distribution) and data migration processes.

·       Experience designing and support Production Order conversions for an Aerospace & Defense (A&D) customer.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

·       Exposure to both Classic MRP and MRP Live, and advanced planning scenarios (multi plant planning, constrained capacity, order pegging).

·       Prior involvement in large-scale transformation programs (e.g., S/4HANA migrations, 1LMX style initiatives) in a manufacturing context.
