About Nerdio

At Nerdio, our mission is to simplify the lives of IT professionals and maximize their Microsoft cloud and end user computing investments.

We support organizations of all sizes looking to deploy, manage, and cost-optimize native Microsoft technologies. We partner with Enterprises and Managed Service Providers all over the world to add value on top of their existing native Microsoft investments like Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Windows 365, and Microsoft Intune.

Created in 2016, Nerdio has always taken a market-leading and collaborative approach to cloud deployment and management. In fact, our product roadmap is greatly influenced by the regular feedback we receive from having seen companies deploy AVD into production environments several thousand times using Nerdio technology.

Today, Nerdio is used in over 50 countries by more than 15,000 organizations of every size and vertical. We’re committed to delivering exceptional service and support, which starts with identifying and supporting the best staff possible.

We are a fast-moving, nimble company looking for individuals who are collaborative, empathetic, driven and who love to move at the speed of light. If you want to be part of the AVD transformation that Microsoft and Nerdio are leading, then we want to speak with you.

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented IT Project Coordinator to join our collaborative IT team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate who is eager to build a career in IT, with a clear growth path toward roles in IT Architecture or Solutions Engineering. You will own small-to-medium IT projects end-to-end, working cross-functionally with our Security, Internal Support, and IT Architecture teams to deliver well-documented, tested, and fully handed-off solutions.

What you'll do

  • Own IT projects from initiation through completion, managing scope, timelines, and stakeholder communication independently
  • Document project requirements, technical specifications, and process workflows clearly and thoroughly
  • Coordinate with internal teams including Security, IT Support, and IT Architects to ensure smooth project transitions and handoffs
  • Test and validate deliverables prior to handoff to ensure quality and completeness
  • Maintain project documentation and status updates using Asana, Azure DevOps, and Microsoft 365
  • Leverage Microsoft Purview to support data governance and compliance requirements within projects
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders at all levels to keep projects on track and aligned with business needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field (no prior professional experience required)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — you can translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Highly organized with a natural ability to manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously
  • Curious, self-motivated, and eager to learn across a broad range of IT disciplines
  • Comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while staying closely connected to a collaborative team
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Asana, Purview or Azure DevOps is a plus — but not required
  • Certifications such as CompTIA ITF+ or Microsoft Certifications are a strong plus

A note for Candidates:

This role is ideal for someone who is early in their career but ready to take ownership. If you are the type of person who likes to understand how things work, enjoys bringing order to complexity, and wants to grow into a technical leadership role over time — we would love to hear from you.
