Texas Sports Academy is a K-12 school designed for serious student-athletes who want both elite academics and high-level athletic development. Students cover 2x the material in just 2 hours a day, using the same 2-Hour Learning model as Alpha Schools. That frees up their entire afternoon for serious training, where they work alongside former pro and D1 athletes coaching them at the highest standard.

We are hiring a Junior Partnership Associate to build and maintain our network of athletic facility partners. You will run outreach to gyms, clubs, training centers, and academies, sign new partnerships that bring qualified families to Texas Sports Academy, and own the ongoing relationship with every facility in the portfolio. This role is both the front door for new partnerships and the person who keeps existing ones healthy over time.

What You'll Do
  • Facility Outreach: Identify and reach out to gyms, clubs, training centers, academies, and other athletic facilities across Texas that align with our student-athlete profile.
  • Run Discovery Conversations: Understand each facility's programs, athletes, and goals, and clearly explain how partnering with Texas Sports Academy benefits their athletes and their business.
  • Close New Partnerships: Move interested facilities from first conversation to signed partnership, including proposal, terms, and onboarding steps.
  • Onboard New Partners: Get every new facility set up with the resources, referral process, and points of contact they need to send families our way successfully.
  • Maintain the Relationship: Own the ongoing partnership with every facility in the portfolio. Check in on a defined cadence, share updates, address issues, and make sure each partner feels supported.
  • Track Partnership Performance: Keep clean records of every partnership, monitor referrals and outcomes by partner, and share regular reporting with leadership on what is working and where to invest more.

Requirements
  • Partnership, Sales, or Business Development Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in partnerships, sales, business development, or a similar relationship-driven role. You can walk us through partnerships or deals you built and how you maintained them.
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication: You are confident opening a conversation with a facility owner or coach, and your written outreach and follow-ups read as professional and on-brand.
  • Relationship Ownership: You take responsibility for the health of every partnership you own. You check in proactively, follow through on commitments, and resolve issues before they grow.
  • Organized and Consistent: You can manage a growing portfolio of partners across different stages, keep the CRM current, and hit your outreach and check-in cadences without missing a beat.
  • Comfortable in an Athletic Environment: You understand the world of youth sports, training facilities, and competitive athletics well enough to speak the language of facility owners and coaches.
  • AI Forward: Comfort using AI tools to research facilities, draft outreach, and speed up repetitive work. Familiarity with tools such as Perplexity Computer is a plus.
  • Reliable Home Setup: Quiet workspace, strong internet, and a working headset and webcam. Available during standard U.S. business hours (Central Time preferred).
  • Location: Remote (U.S. only). U.S. work authorization required.
Bonus Points
  • Youth Sports or Athletic Facility Experience: Prior work with a gym, club, training center, camp, league, or comparable organization.
  • Education, Athletics, or Coaching Background: Personal or professional experience in K-12 education, competitive athletics, or coaching.
  • CRM Experience: Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, or a comparable CRM for pipeline and partner management.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish): Ability to build partnerships with Spanish-speaking facility operators.
