This is an onsite position at the NBK Lab, Monday-Friday, 1st shift.
Lead a team of approximately 10 professionals in a specialized laboratory focused on roofing product testing, including shingles, underlayment, and other building materials. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring operational excellence, strong organizational skills, and customer engagement.

The estimated salary range for this position is $69,000 to $92,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee daily lab operations and ensure smooth workflow.
- Manage scheduling and resource allocation across shifts.
- Maintain equipment readiness and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand customer requirements.
- Engage with customers during visits, guide them through processes, and ensure exceptional service.
- Monitor KPIs, drive team performance, and implement process improvements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering (Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field).
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams.
- Knowledge of roofing and building materials testing methods.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to adjust to shift changes and operational priorities.

- Experience in customer-facing roles and business development.
- Familiarity with financial impact of operational decisions.
