This role is responsible for driving and overseeing all testing and experimentation initiatives across the organization. The Experimentation Governance and Operations Lead will bring technical expertise, strategic vision, and operational excellence to establish and drive a robust culture of experimentation; serve as the central coordinator for experimentation efforts, ensuring they are aligned with organizational goals and delivered with consistency and quality; and establishing robust governance and reporting standards, enabling teams to execute experiments effectively while maintaining transparency and accountability. This role will utilize tools like Optimizely and implement alternative solutions when needed, ensuring the flexibility to address diverse testing requirements. By working closely with cross-functional teams, the Experimentation Governance and Operations Lead will help foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and innovation throughout the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Testing Leadership: Coordinate all testing and experimentation initiatives across the organization, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, development, and product teams to prioritize, design, and execute experiments that drive the most potential business impact.
- Governance: Develop, implement, and enforce governance structures and reporting standards for experimentation.
- Technical Oversight: Manage technical implementations of experimentation tools, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Training and Enablement: Create training materials, conduct workshops, and empower teams to leverage experimentation for improved decision-making.
- Data-Driven Insights: Ensure experiments are designed with proper controls and measurements to derive actionable insights, working closely with analytics teams.
- Tool Optimization: Utilize the Optimizely experimentation platform effectively while identifying and implementing alternative tools when appropriate for various testing needs.
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.

Minimum Qualifications (requirements necessary to perform listed duties and responsibilities)
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience:
- At least 8 years of directly relevant experience in digital experimentation, testing operations, or similar roles.
- Proficient in Optimizely, with familiarity in other testing platforms and analytical tools like Adobe Analytics, Tableau, or Google Analytics.
- Experience building custom processes, tools or utilities to support testing operations.
- Experience enforcing best practices for hypothesis generation, test design, and analysis
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of A/B testing, multivariate testing, and personalization techniques.
- Proficiency in web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and related frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an aptitude for training and documentation.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Ability to develop, document, and deliver end user materials such as training or project artifacts.
- Ability to monitor and maintain experimentation platforms to ensure reliability and scalability
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Azure cloud-based architecture and PowerBI.
- Proficiency within the Microsoft Office Suite of products.

The pay range for this position is $97,700 - $184,175; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
