The Lead Finance Analyst is responsible for Singapore financial planning, financial performance reporting and commercial business partnering. The role ensures clear visibility of market performance, supports business decision-making, and delivers high-quality Singapore inputs into SEA financial reporting. The role also partners closely with Commercial and functional stakeholders to deliver accurate financial insights and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting              

  • Lead Singapore market financial planning, work with Singapore market Leadership team, and multi-function teams to translate business plan into financial plan (market P&L).  
  • Challenge forecast inputs and make sense of financial forecast outputs and submission. 
  • Track the month-to-date and estimate month-to-go, proactively identify and manage Risk and Opportunities, and incorporate changes into Latest Estimate (LE), and Financial Outlook.
  • Support Singapore market Leadership team to prepare for Singapore LE and Outlook reviews.
  • Identify gaps-to-target and relevant mitigation plans where necessary.

Financial Performance Reporting and Analysis

  • Deliver accurate and timely performance reporting for Singapore market.
  • Drive clarity of financial performance with insightful variance analysis via monthly reporting package (P&L, trading profit, volume, gross margin, GMPU, rolling forecast).
  • Conduct Singapore monthly financial performance review to Singapore market Leadership team and core team members. 

Commercial Business Partnering

  • Act as finance business partner to Singapore Commercial teams to support delivery of business objectives. 
  • Leverage insights from performance analysis to provide support on commercial decision-making and proactively suggest alternative course of action.
  • Conduct financial evaluations of business cases, challenge inputs, support business partners to strengthen assumptions and plan. Provide clear financial perspectives to support decision-making.

Cost Management (Non-People Cost)

  • Partner Logistics, Customer and Market/Support functions on non-people cost.
  • Monitor and analyse operating expenses, providing transparency on cost drivers and trends.

Financial Reporting and Compliance

  • Champion financial compliance in area of responsibility. 
  • Ensure financial reporting is accurate and compliant.
  • Adhere to monthly closing and reporting timeline.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner Singapore Commercial and functional stakeholders on financial performance.
  • Work closely with the SEA Finance Manager to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Support delivery against planning and reporting timelines.

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 5–8 years’ experience in FP&A or commercial finance
  • Experience supporting business stakeholders in a commercial environment
  • Exposure to regional or multi-market environments advantageous

Skills

  • Strong Financial Analysis skill and P&L Understanding.
  • Strong Excel capabilities – e.g. creation of financial simulation/modelling to cater to various business scenarios.
  • Ability to interpret financial performance and communicate clear insights, and consolidate large data sets into meaningful summaries.
  • Ability to act as a Commercial Partner that challenges and influences decisions constructively.
  • Effective stakeholder management across functions.
