Who is Boulevard?

Boulevard provides the first and only client experience platform for appointment-based, self-care businesses. We empower our customers to give their clients more of the magical moments that matter most.

Before launching in 2016, our founders spent months interviewing salon managers and working behind front desks to understand their pain points so we could design a modern, user-friendly platform that meets the unique needs of their business. Our roots may be in hair salons, but we are built for the broader self-care industry, including many types of salons, spas, medspa, barbershops, and more. Our technology not only helps our customers survive but thrive. Take a look at how we (and YOU) can make that happen.

We have an insatiable curiosity and embrace experimentation. We believe that simple solutions require the most sophistication, and we design each and every detail to maximize potential, power, and impact. Do our values match? Read through our story and what we value the most.

Our team values and celebrates our diverse backgrounds. Being open about who we are and what we do allows us to do the best work of our lives. We believe in equal opportunity for all, and you should too.

Come do the best work of your life at Boulevard.

Boulevard is looking for senior hands-on IT leader to modernize and scale our corporate technology function as we grow. You’ll serve as the technical owner of our corporate IT environment, strengthening day-to-day operations while building the systems, automation, governance, and service standards required for a more proactive and scalable function.

This is a high-impact player-coach opportunity for someone who enjoys moving between strategy and execution. You’ll improve everything from identity, access, and endpoint management to employee onboarding, system health, and self-service—while partnering across the business to elevate Boulevard’s security, resilience, and overall employee technology experience. As the function evolves, you’ll also help shape its future structure, capabilities, and investment priorities.

What you’ll do here:

  • Own our corporate IT environment: Serve as the senior technical owner across Boulevard’s systems, applications, endpoints, identity infrastructure, and employee technology experience.
  • Build for scale: Assess existing systems, processes, and controls to identify gaps, reduce risk, and establish a proactive, scalable IT operating model.
  • Modernize and automate: Lead improvements across applications, integrations, workflows, self-service capabilities, and AI-enabled solutions that reduce manual work.
  • Strengthen lifecycle management: Improve onboarding, offboarding, provisioning, access governance, device management, SaaS administration, and asset lifecycle processes.
  • Elevate service delivery: Establish clear documentation, metrics, service expectations, and support practices that create a consistent and effective employee experience.
  • Solve complex problems: Act as an escalation point for challenging technical issues, drive root-cause resolution, and eliminate recurring operational friction.
  • Partner across Boulevard: Collaborate with Security, People, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and business leaders on technology, compliance, access, continuity, and operational priorities.
  • Shape the function’s future: Manage key vendors and technology partners while helping define Boulevard’s longer-term IT roadmap, team structure, capability gaps, and investment priorities.

What you’ll need to thrive:

  • Extensive IT experience: 10+ years of progressive experience across corporate IT, enterprise technology, IT operations, workplace technology, or related disciplines.
  • High-growth SaaS expertise: Experience operating in a SaaS or high-growth technology environment and adapting systems and processes as organizational needs evolve.
  • Deep technical breadth: Strong expertise across identity and access management, endpoint management, SaaS administration, asset lifecycle management, and IT service delivery.
  • Player-coach approach: The ability to balance hands-on technical execution with functional leadership, mentorship, prioritization, and long-term planning.
  • Proven program leadership: Demonstrated success leading complex IT initiatives from problem identification through implementation, adoption, and operationalization.
  • Scalable and automation-first mindset: Experience building standards, controls, documentation, metrics, integrations, self-service workflows, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Strong business judgment: The ability to influence senior stakeholders and partner effectively across Security, People, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and other business functions, supported by working knowledge of security, compliance, incident management, business continuity, and disaster recovery.
  • Relevant background: A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered. Experience with vendor management, technology rationalization, contract renewals, or spend optimization is a plus.

How we’ll take care of you:
