This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the processes, standards, and oversight required to effectively manage the credit union’s application portfolio from intake through retirement. The position works closely with IT, Information Security, Risk, Audit, Procurement, and Business Owners to ensure applications are tracked, maintained and supported throughout the lifecycle.
The role will demonstrated experience managing full application lifecycles within enterprise environments, with extensive hands‑on use of ServiceNow as a central platform for workflow automation and service delivery.
Application Lifecycle Oversight
- Establish and maintain lifecycle management processes governing application intake, onboarding, maintenance, optimization, and retirement.
- Maintain an authoritative inventory of all applications, capturing ownership, risk levels, lifecycle status, integrations, and technology details.
- Define lifecycle standards and ensure consistency across teams and application owners.
Risk, Security, & Compliance
- Coordinate periodic application reviews with business and IT owners to validate business criticality, data sensitivity, vendor risk, and operational impact.
- Support audit activities and ensure applications meet documentation, access control, and compliance expectations.
- Proactively identify lifecycle-related risks and identify remediation actions.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance Support
- Serve as a central point of contact for lifecycle processes, decisions, and escalations
- Facilitate application review boards, lifecycle steering committees, and cross-functional alignment meetings
- Deliver training and communication on lifecycle management standards, expectations, and best practices
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field—or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in application management, IT governance, IT service management, or related fields
- Strong understanding of SDLC, ITIL practices, application portfolio management, and vendor management
- Experience working in regulated industries such as banking or credit union
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities

Compensation & Benefits:
Typical hiring range: $92,600.00 to $144,100.00 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
