We are looking for a lead software development engineer who can lead a team of talented engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions for our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and architecture to testing and deployment. You will also mentor and coach your team members, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Design and implement software solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural principles and client requirements
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
- Ensure the quality of software deliverables through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices
- Collaborate effectively with architects, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience
- 7 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role
- Strong proficiency in C# and SQL
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React and experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure (AWS or GCP will be considered)
- Experience working with RabbitMQ, M365 integrations
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD and Azure DevOps
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
- Travel requirement upto 20%
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with iDesign principles and practices.
- Proficiency in version control systems
- Experience with intermittently connected systems and distributed systems
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Contributions to open-source projects.

The base compensation range for this full-time position is between $150,000 – $180,000 plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and as applicable, other required qualifications.
