Position Overview 

The Learning Specialist is responsible for creating, delivering, and supporting training programs that enhance the skills and performance of Claire’s employees. This role focuses on designing engaging content and facilitating learning for store teams and corporate staff, supporting areas such as customer experience, piercing excellence, leadership development, and operational execution. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Training Design & Delivery 

  • Develop and maintain training materials, e-learning modules, job aids, and facilitator guides. 

  • Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions for store leaders, associates, and corporate teams. 

  • Ensure training aligns with Claire’s brand standards, operational priorities, and business goals. 

Onboarding & Development 

  • Support onboarding programs to ensure new hires are set up for success. 

  • Partner with HR and Operations to identify learning needs and create targeted development solutions. 

Measurement & Continuous Improvement 

  • Track training participation, completion rates, and impact on performance metrics. 

  • Gather learner feedback and continuously refine programs for greater engagement and effectiveness. 

Collaboration & Support 

  • Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content. 

  • Support rollout of new initiatives, technology, and processes by providing clear, effective training. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field. 

  • 2–4 years of experience in training, learning & development, or retail operations. 

  • Strong facilitation skills with experience engaging both in-person and virtual audiences. 

  • Proficiency with LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills. 

  • Ability to travel to stores and distribution centers as needed. 

Compensation Range: $52,000.00 - $71,760.00

Claire’s is committed to adhering to all applicable company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations. All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. The final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
