Life Enrichment Coordinator at Luther Oaks in Bloomington: $17.00-$20.00/hour with a set Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm schedule and only occasional Saturdays - a rare setup for an activities role in senior living.

You'll plan and lead the moments that make daily life at Luther Oaks feel like home for the older adults in our Assisted Living neighborhood. This is hands-on work: getting to know residents, building programs around what actually interests them, and creating a community people look forward to being part of every day.

What you'll do:

  • Plan, coordinate, and lead recreational, social, and wellness programs for Assisted Living residents
  • Build activities that support residents' physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being
  • Get to know residents' interests, preferences, and personal histories, and shape programming around them
  • Work with nursing, dining, and care staff to keep residents engaged and supported
  • Run special events, holiday programming, and community outings
  • Encourage participation and keep the community feeling active and inclusive

What you'll need:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Hands-on experience planning or leading activities programs for older adults

Preferred:

  • Experience specifically in senior living, assisted living, or a related setting
  • Coursework or a degree in Recreation Therapy, Activities, Gerontology, or a related field
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, and a genuine interest in getting to know residents individually

Pay and benefits:

  • $17.00-$20.00/hour, based on experience
