The Mid-Market Manager India at Atlassian oversees a team dedicated to acquiring and managing customers within the mid-sized business segment in our India region. This involves overseeing a team responsible for development and implementation of strategies customised to meet the specific needs of mid-market customers, nurturing relationships with key accounts . You will need to be based in India and can choose to work remotely, or join the team in our new office location in Bengaluru.
Responsibilities
  • Leading and managing a team of mid-market account executives.
  • Developing and implementing plans and initiatives to penetrate and expand market share in the Asia focused mid-market segment.
  • Elevating the Atlassian brand in India through executive engagement and thought leadership at Atlassian hosted and industry events, and developing your team to do the same.
  • Analysing data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Managing key client relationships and participating in high-level negotiations and discussions as needed.
  • Providing mentorship, coaching, and guidance to the sales team to help them develop their skills and achieve their individual targets.
  • Setting performance goals and metrics for the sales team and monitoring their progress towards meeting these goals.
  • Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new members of the sales team as needed to support business growth objectives.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, Channel Partners, Product Specialists, Account Managers, and Solution Engineers to streamline processes and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to the sales team to drive continuous improvement.
  • Providing regular updates and reports to senior management.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics within the mid-market segment
  • Experience in Sales as an Individual Contributor (Account Executive or similar) and a manager with experience working with customers and teams in India.
  • Experience building a sales strategy for multiple countries/regions taking in to consideration the variation in economic factors
  • Understanding the cultural nuances and sensitivities of the APAC region to ensure smooth management of your direct team, cross-functional stake-holders, customers and partners.
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian solution landscape and how it applies in India due to regulatory, data compliance, language, and ways of working factors
  • Strong track record of success: hitting target and pipeline generation goals.
  • Knowledge of and ability to coach on Solution sales and value selling
  • Experience using CRM, Pipeline Management, and Analytic tools
  • Motivated and inspired to coach, enable, and mentor selling professionals
  • You are someone who wants to challenge the traditional Sales Model and optimise sales processes.
  • You love working in a fast-paced international environment, take the initiative to get stuff done, try new things and love sharing your findings with your team
