What We Need:
The Manager, Account Management will serve as a people leader responsible for leading, developing, and scaling the Account Management team within Equip, Synapse Health’s business line focused on Hospice and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) partners. This role is central to delivering an exceptional client experience, driving account growth, and ensuring operational excellence across these strategically important segments.
This leader will balance hands-on account oversight with coaching and team development, while partnering cross-functionally to ensure seamless onboarding, consistent service delivery, and long-term client success. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, data-driven manager who can translate strategy into execution, build high-performing teams, and elevate how Equip engages and grows its Hospice and SNF client base.
What You Will Do:
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Account Management team through ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management.
- Set clear expectations, goals, and success metrics for team members, fostering accountability, engagement, and professional growth.
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and training of new Account Managers ensuring consistency and readiness from day one.
- Support active client needs, to include corporate client relationships
Account Strategy & Client Success
- Oversee account strategies for Hospice and SNF clients, ensuring alignment with Equips business objectives and client needs.
- Monitor account health, performance metrics, and service delivery outcomes to identify risks, opportunities for expansion, and improvement areas.
- Serve as a strategic escalation point for complex or high-impact client issues, driving timely resolution and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Guide the team in conducting effective account reviews and business planning to support retention and growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operations
- Partner closely with Sales, Network Management, Implementation, Operations, and Billing teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and ongoing service delivery.
- Drive alignment across teams by improving workflows, documentation, and communication to enhance efficiency and reduce friction.
- Ensure account documentation, processes, and practices are accurate, compliant, and consistently applied.
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
- Track and analyze key account and team performance metrics, using data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement.
- Report on key account metrics and performance indicators, through CRM activity.
- Identify opportunities to optimize account management processes, tools, and best practices to support scalability and results.
- Lead or support high-impact initiatives and cross-functional projects that contribute to Equips long-term growth and success.
What You Have:
At Synapse Health, we’ve intentionally built a culture rooted in kindness, collaboration, and creativity, qualities we consider essential for every team member. Additional requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 5–7 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a strong background in account management, inside sales, or client-facing roles.
- 3+ years of people management experience, including coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to achieve business objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly learn and navigate role-specific systems and tools.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed, strategic decisions.
- High attention to detail and a consistent commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Experience working on the vendor side with Hospice and/or SNF clients is required; Hospice experience is strongly preferred.

Compensation:
The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to 138,000 annually. This range reflects the anticipated compensation at the time of posting. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, demonstrated skills, internal equity, and prevailing market conditions. Compensation discussions are encouraged throughout the hiring process.
