About The Opportunity

The Advertising team bridges Product, Sales, and Growth Operations to translate advertising innovations into high-impact commercial strategies. Grubhub has built a thriving advertising business, and we are looking for a strategic Product Marketing Manager to drive the next phase of growth through offsite ad products, audience segmentation, and bundled service offerings. In this role, you will define positioning, develop messaging frameworks, lead commercialization strategy for DSP/SSP/CDP integrations, and orchestrate end-to-end go-to-market initiatives. You will serve as the strategic bridge between Product Management and commercial teams, leveraging market intelligence to unlock new advertising revenue streams and elevate merchant success.

By aligning product roadmaps with merchant needs and market opportunities, you will foster strong incremental revenue growth for both Grubhub and our merchant partners. A merchant-centric perspective combined with commercial drive is key to success. This role reports into the Sr. Manager - Advertising.

The Impact You Will Make

  • Lead the Go-To-Market strategy and positioning for ad product expansion across internal and external media surfaces.

  • Define value propositions and commercial packaging for ad products across all merchant tiers and segments.

  • Commercialize new ad experiences, audience targeting capabilities, and data-driven ad products for restaurant partners and advertisers.

  • Develop merchant-facing ROI narrative frameworks, case studies, and attribution positioning to demonstrate media network impact at scale.

  • Design and market bundled advertising packages that drive long-term merchant investment and expand the ad product portfolio.

  • Conduct qualitative ad buyer research and quantitative market analysis to prioritize target merchant personas and drive lead enablement.

  • Track competitive ad landscape trends, analyze product performance data, and partner with Product to address feature gaps and market opportunities.

  • Create pitch collateral, sales enablement toolkits, and go-to-market playbooks to support Sales and Account Management teams.

  • Synthesize customer insights and campaign performance learnings into actionable recommendations for Product, Engineering, and Business Leaders.

  • Build strong strategic cross-functional partnerships across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Analytics to drive cohesive commercial success.

  • Partner closely with Product Managers to inform roadmap decisions based on customer feedback, market demand, and commercial viability.

  • Drive cross-functional product launch campaigns that maximize market adoption and recurring advertising revenue.

What You Bring To The Table

  • 6–8 years of relevant work experience in product marketing, advertising product strategy, ad tech, or retail media networks is required.

  • Strategic product marketer with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for driving product adoption and revenue growth.

  • Proven track record of defining product positioning, crafting compelling value propositions, and bringing complex ad products from concept to launch.

  • Superior strategic thinking and capability to navigate fast-moving ad tech environments and align multi-stakeholder priorities.

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis, SQL, Tableau, and Excel to derive market insights and prove product value. Salesforce experience is a plus.

  • High strategic agility, strong customer empathy, and high expectations for execution quality and product-market fit.

  • Experience partnering with product and engineering teams on ad tech platforms, including DSPs, SSPs, CDPs, or programmatic advertising systems.

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, advanced degree in related field or MBA preferred
